Thrilled to get these through at last.

My #ClassicalChill thank you cards.

6 different designs that you can collect at each concert you come to. They look beautiful and they are a thank you to everyone that has supported my recital series so far - they'll look lush on your fridge!

Going to be placing some at Leeds Town Hall next week for my performance

as part of Leeds International Festival.

Tickets have SOLD OUT for that concert but you can watch via streaming.

Details for streaming are posted here on Sunday.

A HUGE thank you to all that came out and supported the Colours concert last night. A really special evening and some really amazing comments and feedback.

Music from Messaien Theme and Variations, Arvo Part Fratres, Vaughan Williams Fantastia on Greensleeves and a beaut of a piece from Nico Muhly Drones and Violin ( with a added soundscape recording by me )

Really lovely reaction to all the pieces particularly the Nico Muhly and Messaien as we explored music and colour and the phenomenon of synesthesia and starting the concert with a wonderful quote by Arvo Part - “I could compare my music to white light, which contains all colours. Only a prism can divide the colours and make them appear; this prism could be the spirit of the listener.”

Taking inspiration from the ‘Memory and Light’ installation which was first commissioned by London Design Festival in 2018, for the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Norfolk House Music Room.

It has now been re-imagined for Belsay Hall, entering into a new dialogue of memory, legacy and freedom of expression within the historic space.

Curated by Clare Farrow in collaboration with Arup specialists Stephen Philips, Ned Crowe and Ed Elbourne, this multi-sensory installation brings Pärt’s words to life in a meeting of design and music, which responds to the historic setting of Belsay Hall, creating a living dialogue between the past and the present.

The installation consists of a transparent curved screen representing the prism in Pärt’s poetic description, alongside a viewing and listening bench where visitors can sit to experience the composer’s words and his music - I hope that the audience last night at #ClassicalChill enjoyed his music along with my abstract mood lighting and new staging.

Thank you again for your support

The next concert in the #ClassicalChill series is inspired by Colour.

Colours and synesthesia and #ClassicalChill - perfect combination of music and abstract mood lighting with works by John Corigliano and the red violin, to Ravel's haunting 'blues' movement from his violin sonata and Messiaen's Theme and Variations for violin and piano, plus a selection from Nico Muhly's Drones and Violin. Tickets are on sale now in the LIVE section.
