Incredible night on 22 May as my first concert back at Leiston Abbey since Christmas!

A 'DREAMS' inspired evening with music from Brahms, Wagner and Alan Richardson (Dreaming Spires - written for my old teacher Frederick Grinke back in the 70's when Mr Grinke and Mr Richardson were both professors at the Royal Academy of Music in London) and a first performance to a live audience of Arvo Part's latest composition 'Estonian Lullaby'

So great to see everyone back listening to live music again and we hope it will continue from strength to strength as we battle our way out of lockdown and back to a degree of some 'normality'

The next concert is on 5th June.

I've already been on BBC Radio Suffolk chatting about it.

An evening inspired by composers who have links with East Anglia.

Music from Benjamin Britten, William Alwyn, Doreen Carwithen and Patrick Hawes who was Classic FM's composer in residence in 2006 and more.

Fish and Chips will be served (of course - east coasts finest)

Details on booking tickets about in the LIVE section.

Thank you again for your continuing support for this series.

On to the next one! x -n #ClassicalChill
